Why Is Health Enrollment Important?

Offering Healthcare is not an option – it’s mandatory.

  • You must show proof of offering healthcare to all employees to stay ACA Compliant and avoid steep IRS penalties.
  • Example: A DSP with 60 full-time employees (FTEs) that cannot show proof of offering minimum essential coverage (in accordance with ACA guidelines1), could be assessed a penalty of $2,880 per FTE after the first 30 employees. That’s a penalty of $86,400!
  • DSPs must be able to show proof of offering healthcare to all employees to stay compliant with Amazon DSP Program Policy. Your proof is every benefits-eligible employee logging into the Decisely platform to enroll or waive coverage.

Steps to Successful Open Enrollment

Communication is key for great enrollment!

Successful DSPs “Get the Word Out” to ensure a smooth and successful open enrollment, as well as ACA and Amazon compliance.

Update Employee Contact Info

  • Go to https://app.decisely.com > reports > employee directory
  • Contact your OE Specialist for help

Share Information

Meet Regularly

  • Use these Talking Points to promote enrollment
  • Provide a tablet for your employees or schedule enrollment appointments
  • Remind them they must enroll or waive coverage

  • Remind employees to look for texts or emails from yourbenefitscenter@decisely.com.

  • Posters: Print out and write in your open enrollment dates and plan costs. Hang Posters in common areas, like the breakroom or where driver’s get their route information. Also, hand them out as flyers.
